All Kindergartners must be five years of age on or before September 30 of the year entering school. Kindergarten students will complete an entrance examination following their application. The entrance exam covers letter recognition, phonemic awareness, number understanding, and handwriting.
First through Eighth Grade
First through Eighth Grade students may apply for admission throughout the school year. Completion of an entrance exam with successful scores in Math, Reading, and Writing will be required for admission. The previous year’s report card, current term’s report card, and a recommendation from a teacher and administrator are required prior to acceptance.
Little Flower School admits children with the following priorities in connection with entrance examination scores, transferring report cards, and recommendations:
- Children of faculty and staff
- Siblings of current families
- Catholic families in the Diocese of Reno
- All other families

How to Apply
We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of their child’s application. To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
A non-refundable fee of $25 must be submitted with each application.
After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms and, if necessary, reprint the forms.
